𝗗𝗮𝘆 2 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝗻𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗣𝗘𝗦𝗢𝗦 𝗥𝗲-𝗘𝗰𝗵𝗼 𝗘𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗽𝘀 𝗧𝗠𝗣𝗖 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻-𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗲𝘀

Thanksgiving Multi-Purpose Cooperative (TMPC) successfully conducted Day 2 of the Enhanced Cooperative PESOS Re-Echo Seminar today, July 11, 2026, at the TMPC Conference Hall, with Ms. Marciana "Mars" Madadsek serving as the facilitator.

A major highlight of the activity was the presentation of the Corrective Action Plans prepared by the participants during the workshop conducted in Day 1 of the training. Participants were previously grouped and assigned to develop action plans based on the results of the Cooperative PESOS assessment. On Day 2, each group presented its proposed interventions, strategies, timelines, and persons responsible for addressing identified areas for improvement.

Following the presentations, Ms. Madadsek facilitated an in-depth discussion on the Overall Performance Assessment of TMPC and the identification of priority areas for improvement. Constructive comments and recommendations were shared to further strengthen the proposed action plans.

The facilitators will collate and consolidate all group outputs, incorporating the valuable feedback and recommendations gathered during the presentations. The finalized Corrective Action Plan will serve as TMPC's guide for implementation, monitoring, and evaluation as the cooperative continues its journey toward improved organizational performance and compliance with Cooperative PESOS standards.

Another meaningful part of the program was the AHA! Moment, where EdCom Secretary Razel V. Lisking inspired participants by emphasizing that meaningful change begins with collective commitment, accountability, and the willingness to translate learning into action for the benefit of the cooperative and its members.

The seminar concluded with the distribution of certificates led by Chairperson Lilybeth B. Balutoc and the closing remarks of Vice Chairperson Oliver Kiyawan, who encouraged everyone to remain steadfast in implementing the agreed action plans and sustaining a culture of excellence within TMPC.

Thanksgiving Multi-Purpose Cooperative (TMPC) participated in the SDMP Planning Workshop – Phase 1 (Data Gathering) on July 8, 2026, at the Barangay Multi-Purpose Hall, an initiative of Philex Mining Corporation.

The workshop gathered Barangay Officials, representatives from schools, churches, women's groups, health and nutrition sectors, child development workers, registered associations, community leaders, elders, and residents to identify community needs and priorities for year 2027.

TMPC remains committed to supporting collaborative initiatives that promote sustainable community growth and development.

Thanksgiving Multipurpose Cooperative proudly participated in the Flag-Raising Ceremony held on July 6, 2026 at Tuba Municipal Hall Ground, where our Cooperative was represented by our Manager.

During the ceremony, Municipal Mayor Clarita P. Sal-ongan administered the Oath of Office to the newly inducted officials of the Municipal Cooperative Development Council (MCDC).

True to its commitment to strengthening the cooperative movement, Thanksgiving Multi-Purpose Cooperative (TMPC) proudly took part in the 2026 International Day of Cooperatives Celebration held on July 4, 2026, at Diamond Hall, Hotel Supreme, Baguio City.

With this year's global theme, "Cooperatives for a Peaceful World," the celebration gathered cooperative leaders, officers, members, and partners from across the Cordillera to reaffirm the vital role of cooperatives in promoting peace, unity, inclusive growth, and community empowerment.

Representing TMPC were Vice Chairman Oliver Kiyawan and Manager Agosto A. Aluyao, who actively participated in the event. Manager Aluyao also served as one of the event hosts, contributing to the smooth and successful conduct of the province-wide celebration. He likewise serves as TMPC's representative to the Cordillera Administrative Region Cooperative Union (CARCU) Cooperative Social Responsibility Committee, reflecting the cooperative's active involvement in advancing social responsibility initiatives within the regional cooperative movement.

The celebration featured inspiring messages from cooperative leaders, meaningful discussions on the role of cooperatives in fostering peace and sustainable development, and a vibrant Cooperative Products Display, showcasing locally produced food items, coffee, cocoa products, handicrafts, woodcrafts, personal care products, and other quality products from participating cooperatives.

TMPC's participation underscores its unwavering commitment to supporting the cooperative sector's shared mission of promoting collaboration, innovation, and community development. Through the active involvement of its officers in regional cooperative initiatives, TMPC continues to strengthen partnerships and uphold the values of cooperation, solidarity, and social responsibility.

TMPC Chairperson Lilybeth B. Balutoc proudly represented the cooperative during the Oath-Taking of Officers cm Orientation on Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) of the Benguet Provincial Cooperative Union (BPCU).

Chairperson Balutoc serves as a member of the Conciliation and Mediation Committee of BPCU, reaffirming TMPC's commitment to strengthening cooperative governance and promoting peaceful, fair, and effective conflict resolution among member cooperatives.

The event marked the beginning of a new chapter of leadership as the newly elected and appointed BPCU officers formally took their oath of office, pledging to serve with integrity, dedication, and excellence. Following the oath-taking ceremony, participants attended a comprehensive orientation on Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), which highlighted the importance of dialogue, mediation, and cooperation in resolving conflicts within organizations and communities.

TMPC remains steadfast in supporting initiatives that promote capable leadership, effective dispute resolution, and stronger partnerships among cooperatives for the benefit of their members and the communities they serve.
