The Uniform is Respected, But the Family is Wounded. Discipline shouldn't end after duty. This is the pain no wife should carry! AFP, Hear this!!
I’m speaking up because the things I’ve been reading and hearing lately are honestly disturbing. The cheating among some soldiers, the rising cases of STD and HIV, and the complete lack of accountability, it’s getting out of control. You say “Securing the land, protecting the people,” yet you can’t even secure or protect your own families.
Let’s be real:
How can you defend a country when you can’t even stay loyal, disciplined, and clean for the people who love you the most?
Yes, not everyone. But the ones who are doing these things? They’re staining the uniform.
They walk around with so much pride, but once the uniform comes off, what’s left?
Disrespect, irresponsibility, and zero discipline. You talk about honor, integrity, service pero bakit ang bilis niyong mawala sa sarili pag off-duty?
How can you preach loyalty to the nation when you can’t even be loyal to your wife?
How can you be called a protector when you bring home diseases your family never deserved?
And let’s not pretend:
STD and HIV cases are real among soldiers.
While you enjoy your “good time” outside, it’s your wife who ends up in a hospital bed, crying over results she never caused.
It’s disgusting.
It’s heartbreaking.
And it’s dangerous.
AFP needs stricter moral discipline.
Not just training, not just drills, not just formations.
Real discipline, in character, in relationships, in health.
Mandatory HIV/STD testing? Absolutely.
Clear penalties for cheating and misconduct? Yes.
Actual accountability? YES.
Enough with the image-building. Fix the culture.
The uniform is not a shield for your mistakes.
It’s not an excuse for cheating.
It’s not a free pass to destroy your family.
Respect is earned. Discipline is proven. Character is lived, on duty AND off duty.
I hope this reaches someone with authority inside AFP.
Because families are paying the price for the things you keep ignoring.
