Kwek Kwek, a popular variation of Tokneneng, is a famous Filipino street food, made by deep-frying orange batter covered hard-boiled eggs. Commonly sold along the streets of Manila and many other places in the Philippines, Kwek-kwek, as well as other street foods such as isaw, and fish balls, squid balls are very popular with the students, professors and virtually everyone else in the Polytechnic
University of the Philippines. Certain areas of the Teresa St, the nearby street, where these street foods are being sold have become known as some of the most stopped spots of hungry PUP students, attracting even people from neighboring schools who are looking for a quick bite to satisfy their street food craving. Students who wish to have the food more often than not need to go outside the campus and walk a considerable distance to be able to purchase the food. Because of this, we want to provide convenience to these consumers by bringing their favorite “kwek-kwek” inside the campus. As entrepreneurs, we believe that products cannot remain what it has been since it was launched. We desire to make better the existing product in the market by adding some improvements on the appearance of the food. The “kwek-kwek” is usually orange in color, so we came into a decision of giving it a variation of colors for the product to be more appealing in the consumer’s eyes. Conceptualized from the famous game “ANGRY BIRDS” which is close to the heart of the youth, we developed a product named “Angry Balls”. The colors available are: orange, violet, green, red, blue, and yellow. Price:
