OPEN LETTER TO CONVERGE AND THE NTC
To the management of Converge and the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC),
Since Typhoon Uwan passed through the Bicol Region, particularly in Camarines Sur, Naga City on November 8, 2025, many subscribers have been experiencing a “Red LOS” on their modems and complete loss of internet connection.
Despite repeated reports, the customer service team continues to provide generic responses, often deferring responsibility to field technicians or engineers, without giving any concrete updates or timeline on when the issues will be resolved. This has left many residents and businesses struggling to stay connected during a critical time.
We urge Converge to address these service interruptions promptly and provide clear, transparent updates to affected subscribers. Likewise, we request the NTC to monitor the situation and ensure that internet service providers uphold their responsibility to the public.
Reliable communication is crucial, especially in the aftermath of natural disasters. We expect immediate action.
Sincerely,
Concerned Subscribers of Libmanan, Camarines Sur
