COMPANY PROFILE

Aloot Foods was founded in the 1960’s by Austina Aloot, more popularly known as “Aling Martina Aloot”. The business was engaged in selling fresh meats and processed meats, including beef tapa and pork tocino. Back then, it was only in a small scale production - just enough to what could be sold in for

day. In the 1990’s, the business management was handed over to one of her sons Mr. From then on, the business grew significantly. As a high school elective, Mrs Aloot took up Food Processing, this is what she recalls to have probably given her the inspiration to seek more modern, healthy and sanitary ways to produce quality meat products. She researched and studied with the help of key persons in the meat processing industry to secure the appropriate knowledge, skills, equipment, spices, and other ingredients for processing fresh meats. In 2002, the company opened its first fully equipped outlet, The Aloot Foods Meatshop. And finally in 2005, the Bureau of Food and Drugs (Food and Drugs Administration) granted Aloot Foods a License to Operate as a meat processing establishment. At present, the proprietress Mrs. Arcelyn A. Aloot manages the daily operations of the company mainly in the production of high quality meat product lines which include 10 kinds of processed meats and a complete line of choice cuts of pork and beef. The company employs a total of twelve employees, mostly of family members and of second generation workers. All are highly skilled in their respective jobs as butchers, cashiers, meatshop attendant, and production workers. As a gesture of gratitude for its customers continued patronage for over fifty years, the company is determined to remain firm in its thrust of providing its clients the best quality of food products they rightly deserve: Guaranteed Fresh and Delicious Everytime.
