The Weekend Kitchen started as a hobby when the owner, Melisa, devoted her spare time during the weekends to cook delicious food for her family and loved ones. She posted the pictures of her dishes in her Facebook Timeline and the posts received quite a handful of positive feedback. From there, Melisa mustered the courage to open up her food business called The Weekend Kitchen.
