My little garden project is taking off. Nothing soothes me faster than getting myself grounded with plants.
This week we have some additions to the entree menu, of course the soup menu and new flavor cake slices.

Esta semana tenemos algunas novedades en el menú de platos principales, por supuesto, en el menú de sopas y nuevas porciones de pastel.

It seems we are moving into the rainy season, time to get used to taking naps!
I have a few new entrees on the menu, Thai Peanut Pork, Country Fried Chicken and Mongolian Chicken. All three are big enough for 2 people or a teenager.
I have our Chocolate Cake slices as well, with either Peanut Butter or Chocolate Ganache frosting.
I am also bringing back for this week, Confetti Shortbread, Lemon Bars, Rice Pudding and our ever popular Cherry Cheesecake Brownies!

Parece que se acerca la temporada de lluvias, ¡es hora de acostumbrarse a las siestas!

Tengo algunos platillos nuevos en el menú: Cerdo al estilo tailandés con cacahuete, Pollo frito campestre y Pollo mongol. Los tres son lo suficientemente grandes para dos personas o un adolescente.
También tenemos rebanadas de pastel de chocolate, con glaseado de mantequilla de cacahuete o ganache de chocolate.

Además, esta semana traemos de vuelta las galletas de mantequilla con confeti, las barras de limón, el arroz con leche y nuestros siempre populares brownies de tarta de queso con cerezas.

Time, you can slow down now, this year is flying by!
If you haven't checked us out before, come down and do so. The largest selection of GLUTEN FREE FOOD in all of Panama, exclusively available at the Tuesday Market at Tapout, in Boquete, Panama. Half of our clients are not gluten free, they just love the taste! That says something.
So we have Chicken or Beef Pot pies, Beef Tamale Pie, and a whole lot of soups for your selection.
I will have our popular Rosemary flatbread, Yuca Cheese rolls, Almond or Peanut Butter biscotti and some Apple Coconut tarts.

Hope you enjoyed this past week of weather. Apparently back in Canada, where I am from, people had to deal with snow, blustery winds and still are wearing winter outfits. I love living in Panama!

Today I am faced with the reality that I am not 30 years old still. A friend stopped by yesterday and helped me remove the bottom 20 feet of the mango tree in the yard. I am severely allergic to it. I dressed so I would not touch it but my muscles are protesting about the labor I subjected it to!
Now on to the menu. We have our Yuca Cheese Rolls this week. Freshly made yuca flour available at Dan and Tracey's table, Global Food Providers.
We have our highly requested Date Squares and Thai Peanut Noodle Salad.

Hoy me doy cuenta de que todavía no tengo 30 años. Ayer un amigo me visitó y me ayudó a cortar los últimos 6 metros del mango del jardín. Soy muy alérgico. Me vestí para no tocarlo, ¡pero mis músculos protestan por el esfuerzo!
