Definitely relevant to the support I give to NZ wildlife. Without responsibility managed conservation areas, our at risk creatures will lose precious habitat crucial to their survival. Please have a read and make a quick submission against this bill which will turn our natural areas into yet another commodity for greedy people to exploit.

Happy about what we've created with this community project! Sad that it's almost over but we'll be back in spring with a more solid plan and weekly shop opening and deliveries.

WALLACETOWN TRADING POST
We've been having lots of interest from your corner of the loop, but we still need a bit of help to put Wallacetown on our map.

Unfortunately without a trading post there has been no way to service customers in Wallacetown and I'd love for this to change. We sell locally grown veges, home baking, free range eggs, handmade soaps & cosmetics, seedlings, cuttings and more :)

We are needing:
- a location for produce and goods to be dropped off and picked up from (could be a local shop, hall/church, someone's house, existing roadside stall...)
- some volunteer hours on a Tuesday

WHAT ELSE CAN WE DO?

We started this as two ladies with a passion for local food and, to be honest, not much more than hard work! I can definitely say we are proud to see this trade loop come to life.

It’s been very rewarding to see what works and what doesn’t and tinker with our idea until it feels good for our volunteers, small businesses/growers and customers alike. Love you guys for all your patience, support and feedback!

Below are some lessons we have learnt so far BUT this is for the community so we really want to hear:

Shop is open now! Lots of new products available, breads, baked good, fresh vegetables, mushrooms, herbs, seeds, plants, candles, soaps etc

Hey folks we are open again this weekend, 10am Sunday - 4pm Monday.
