Well, we gave it everything we had this summer — but unfortunately we haven’t managed to get what we wanted over the line.
To say we’re disappointed, frustrated and gutted would be an understatement 😔 A lot of time, money and effort has gone into getting set up to sell food, beers and pizzas 🍕🍻🍟, but it just wasn’t meant to be this season. It’s felt like one setback after another, and right now we don’t see an end in sight to get that final green light 🚦
So we’ve made the tough decision to close the doors at the end of this week (or early next week once we run out of stock).
The longer this drags on, the closer we get to winter ❄️ — and our place just isn’t set up for winter yet. Over the next few months, the plan is to focus on getting the building fully weather-tight 🔨🏗️
We are still pushing for that final tick off ✅ but to be honest… we’re a bit worn down by it all.
When we do get the green light, we’ll look at doing pop-up events — pizzas, chips, beers and music 🎶🍕🍟🍺
In the meantime, if you’re travelling past, we’d absolutely love you to stop in and grab the last of our stock. Your support would mean a lot 🙏
A massive thank you to the staff we’ve had 🌟 We’ve been incredibly lucky. When things have been busy on the farm 🚜, the girls have stepped up, taken over and truly made the shop their own. We couldn’t have done it without you 💛
We are definitely not shutting for good. Not even close 💪
We’ll be back — bigger and better next season 🚀 Plans already include expanding the playground 🛝, pick-your-own strawberries 🍓, a big waterslide 💦 and golf ⛳
Thank you to everyone who has supported us. It genuinely means more than you know ❤️
Over… but not out.
