New World Waimate – Part-Time Grocery Assistant

Join Our Grocery Team!

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, honest, and reliable person to join our Grocery team in a part-time role.

Hours:

• Sunday to Thursday
• 11:30am – 6:00pm

Key Responsibilities

• Replenishing stock and maintaining well-presented shelves.
• Providing friendly, helpful customer service and assisting customers with product enquiries.
• Maintaining high merchandising standards throughout the department.
• Heavy lifting as part of the role.
• Following all Health & Safety and Food Safety procedures.

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

• Has excellent customer service skills.
• Has good product knowledge (or is willing to learn).
• Communicates well with customers and teammates.
• Has great attention to detail.
• Can work both independently and as part of a team.
• Is reliable, motivated, and takes pride in their work.
