🛒 New World Temuka Refurbishment Update #6 🛠️

The last 15 weeks have been epic for New World Temuka. We knew the transformation would be great, but I don't think any of us realised just how great it would be or just how much positivity it would create.

It's been a privilege to undertake this project in Temuka. We've been humbled by everyone's excitement and we genuinely appreciate every positive comment we receive.

Last week the produce department was completed and it really does look fantastic. In addition, as you enter the store, you'll now be greeted by our new deli cabinet, stocked with fresh salads, cold meats and a range of beautiful meals made right here in store by our awesome deli team. These include roast meals, spaghetti and meatballs, butter chicken and the ever-popular macaroni cheese.

Two more cabinets have also been installed in the entrance area, showcasing our hot food selection and other ready-to-eat favourites. You'll find everything from sushi and filled rolls to custard squares and donuts.

Over the coming weeks we'll be focusing on the finishing touches to really polish the new look. This includes removing old tiles and polishing the concrete underneath, completing some plastering and paintwork and installing new signage throughout the store to help you find your way more easily.

Thank you for your continued support, it's been a great journey so far and we can't wait to share the finished result with you all!

🛒 New World Temuka Refurbishment Update #5 🛠️

Wow, what a few weeks it’s been!
Our upright freezers are now installed, operational, and fully stocked. They really have transformed this department.
Our wine, beer and cider range has now been relocated to its new home on the far side of the store. The additional space has made a huge difference and we’re really pleased with how it’s come together.

We’re now excited for next week, which will focus on the store entrance, deli and finishing touches to the produce department. By the end of next week the main parts of the project will be complete, which is a fantastic milestone!

Following that, there will be some cosmetic work to finish off, including flooring and painting touch-ups, as well as the installation of new signage.

We realise that all the changes and department shifts have added a few challenges to your shopping experience- and have no doubt increased a few step counts along the way! As you get used to the new layout please don’t hesitate to ask one the staff if you need help finding anything.
