After a lot of work behind the scenes, our Micro Abattoir is now officially up and running.

For us, it’s about bringing the process closer to home β€” working with good local farmers, respecting the animals, using as much of each animal as possible, and producing quality New Zealand beef and lamb.

We’re proud of what we’ve built and excited for what’s ahead.

Magills Butchery is looking for a part-time Retail Supervisor to join our team.

We’re looking for someone who:
βœ… Is mature, reliable and responsible
βœ… Has great customer service skills
βœ… Is confident working independently
βœ… Takes pride in keeping the shop running smoothly

Hours:
πŸ•’ Tuesday – 3pm–6pm
πŸ•’ Thursday – 3pm–6pm
πŸ•’ Friday – 3pm–6pm
πŸ•’ Every second Saturday – 7am–4:30pm

Hours are flexible, and we can work with the right person to shift days around where needed.

We were more than happy to support the ANZ Charity Golf Tournament this year, helping raise funds for the Cancer Society and the incredible work they do supporting cancer patients, survivors and their families.

We’ve donated some Magills Butchery meat packs for the tournament prizes β€” a small contribution towards a really worthwhile cause.
