This time of year gives us fantastic produce, the cooler nights and warm days seem to enhance the flavour in our strawberries, and the crop is peaking right now. Sweetpointer capsicums are at peak production, cherry tomatoes are nearly as sweet as strawberries, sweetcorn is tender and sweet and great value, tomatoes have superb flavour and chilli’s are looking fantastic!
Cucumbers are thriving in both Lebanese and telegraph varieties.
Along with freshly picked new season apples from the Family Orchard, what more could you want!
We have plenty of all of these at both Amberley Farmers Market and Mt Pleasant Farmers Market

We have expanded our range at Kai Co Northwood to include our market favourite sweetpointer capsicums. Packed in a 3 pack with red, orange and yellow. Tell us your favourite colour in the comments. Also in stock are Lebanese cucumbers, great for snacks, lunchboxes and salads, no need to peel just munch right away! There will also be 5 packs of red cayenne chillies.
KaiCo is also stocking our super sweet sweetcorn!

While we are not sure if summer has fully arrived… summer produce definitely has!
First of season sweetcorn, telegraph and Lebanese cucumbers, mini capsicum, sweetpointer capsicums, chillies and jalapeños and quite possibly the best tasting apple on the planet tree ripened “D’Estivale” in its prime for the next couple of weeks. Our vine ripened tomatoes are in short supply this weekend due to a shortage of sunny ripening days however we have plenty of the world’s best tasting cherry tomatoes!
