Kitchen Assistant
At Four Square Ōpunake we are all about great people, good vibes and creating a store our locals love walking into. That starts with the team.
We are on the lookout for a hands on Kitchen Assistant who brings a great personality, a positive attitude and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in. Someone who enjoys keeping busy, takes pride in what they do and genuinely enjoys being part of a team.
We hire on vibes just as much as experience. If you’re friendly, switched on and always happy to help, you could be just who we are looking for!
What you will be getting stuck into:
- Making great coffees and keeping our customers happy
- Prepping food and helping keep the café running smoothly
- Keeping the kitchen clean, tidy, and organised
- Making sure food is fresh and ready to go
- Ensuring food safety is a top priority
- Jumping in wherever needed and helping the team out
- Creating a welcoming experience for our customers

Hours of work:
Monday: 7-4pm
Tuesday: 7-3pm
Wednesday: 7-3pm
Saturday: 8-5pm
