You may have heard the news around town… We’re looking for new owners to take the reins of this well-established, reputable business and lead our talented, hardworking team into its next chapter. The family home and beautiful Bombay lifestyle block are part of the package too!

CCK has been a big part of our family’s life for over 30 years, and it’s our team, customers and community who have made it so special to us. Eventually, we’ll be heading off on some new adventures of our own.

For now, you’ll find us here alongside the team you know and trust. It’s business as usual, taking care of your wild game and homekill needs with the same care and pride as always.

🦌 Hunters — a heads-up for the Christmas break!

Our last day for wild game drop-offs is Wednesday 16 December 2026. The hunters’ chillers will reopen on Saturday 9 January 2027.

Heading out hunting over the break? Good on ya!Bag and freeze your trim, then bring it in once we’re back into it next year.

A big thank you to all our hunting clients for your business and support throughout the year. We appreciate you trusting us with your hard-earned catch!

Say gidday to Trevor if you see him around in the CCK Ute! Our trusted on-farm slaughterman brings years of homekill experience, getting the job done safely and professionally.

He’s a hard case with a passion for deer stalking in the South Island’s vast hills.

🔪 His tip: Give your steak a little time out of the fridge before cooking.

His favourite? Venison backsteak cooked as one large portion with salt and pepper. Plenty at steak, but keep it simple! 😋

Stacey is part of the butchery machinery. 🥩 He’s an experienced butcher and a bit of a workaholic. 😉 Putting in the hard yards for his trade, his workmates and our clients.

Once the knives are down, the guitar comes out. Stacey plays with his band, Cover Up, at parties and pubs all over the place. Turns out he’s just as handy with a riff as he is with a knife. 🎸🔪

Meat Jordan! 🥩

Jordan brings big energy to CCK, along with serious skill and a brilliant work ethic. Whether he’s on the slaughter floor or boning bodies of beef and venison, he gets stuck in and gives it his all.

Outside work, he’s a family man and a huge Warriors supporter. Up the Wahs! 🏉🦌

Jordan reckons Malay Satay sausages are a winner for the whole family. If you’re choosing flavours, that’s his pick!🔪

Whether they’re packing your meat, helping with customer collections or receiving trim meat drop-offs, these two know their stuff. No mis-steaks here, and they certainly won’t be getting the chop anytime soon! 🔪😄

They’re always up for a chat, and there’s never any beef! You’re a prime pair and definitely a cut above the rest!

Book early for December—don’t wait until those lambs are fat, or you will miss out! Book ahead with CCK.
