Harbour Co-op We are a community-owned co-operative working together to support local, organic, fair trade and wholefoods producers and make these products available to you.

We are proud to have been serving our community for 5 years as the Harbour Co-op and 10 years as a store on Lyttelton's famous London Street. What was once Lyttel Piko is now a community-owned co-operative. This means that you, the customers of the Harbour Co-op can buy shares in the shop and become member-owners. The benefits of becoming an owner include monthly discounts, savings on selected ite

ms, bulk buying discounts, access to workshops and seminars and open sharing of information. But most importantly, you are able to have a direct say in how the shop is run. All member-owners have an equal vote on major issues and will elect a board of directors which will steer and oversee the operations of the business. We look forward to seeing you in-store, where we can help you with all your bulk-buying, organic, healthfood needs!

Rave reviews! Everyone loves this Italian, organic, extra-virgin olive oil. Carefully harvested and pressed at low temperatures to retain the goodness and flavour. Sustainable production from Gargano National Park where century-old olive trees spontaneously grow, wild and free. Fresh and fragrant flavours best enjoyed raw.

This might just make your day! 🎉 Now in store, organic Japanese Genmaicha Tea. Not much snap, crackle or pop, but yes, that's rice in your tea! 😊 Favoured for its nutty, toasty, soothing flavour, combined with the freshness of green tea. It has lower caffeine, antioxidants, vitamins, and aids digestion.

Also known as "popcorn tea" due to some grains of brown rice popping when they're roasted.
