Winter is here, but we’re nice and warm inside the Katikati Memorial Hall this Sunday from 9am–1pm.

With 22 vendors, a few new stalls, and some old friends returning, there’s plenty to discover. Stock up on fresh local produce, winter favourites, healthy food, brunch options and artisan goodies.

It’s a great way to stay out of the cold wind, support local businesses, and catch up with the community.

See you Sunday at the Katikati Memorial Hall, 9am–1pm.

The weather is set to clear tomorrow, just in time for Sunday Market Day at the Katikati Memorial Hall, 9am–1pm this Sunday, 7 June.

There’ll be plenty of great food, local produce, friendly faces and places to sit and catch up. It’s also a beautiful time of year to enjoy a walk around town before or after the market.

We’re keeping it short and sweet this week, but we’d love to see your smiling faces again.

Community events don’t happen on their own. Whether it’s markets, clubs, sports, schools, volunteers or local services, the best way to support the things that matter to you is to show up in person.

Have a great weekend, and we’ll see you Sunday.
🙂

The long weekend is here, and while the weather has been kind to us this week, it looks like the rain is set to arrive later today. So make the most of the dry weather and get out and about this Sunday for some fresh air, great food and local shopping.

Join us from 9am–1pm, back inside the Katikati Memorial Hall.

A big thank you to everyone involved in the Katikati College School Ball, which was held in the hall last night. We hope all the students, families, teachers and volunteers had a fantastic evening and made some great memories.

This Sunday we’ll be back transforming the hall into a bustling farmers market, filled with fresh local produce and friendly faces.

Stock up on fresh seasonal vegetables, fruit, mushrooms, garlic, honey, sourdough, ferments, duck eggs, persimmons, tamarillos and plenty more local goodness. It’s the perfect time of year for hearty soups, home baking and filling the pantry with fresh local produce.

Feeling hungry? Grab brunch at the market with fry bread burgers, crepes, Thai food and fresh baking.

Whether you’re heading away for the long weekend or staying local, make the market part of your Sunday plans.

Fresh food. Local makers. Community.

See you Sunday in Katikati.

It’s the perfect chance to enjoy brunch, stock up on fresh local goodies, and make the most of some of Katikati’s beautiful walking spots afterwards. Whether it’s a stroll along the river, through the murals, or out into the reserves, Katikati is looking pretty special at the moment.

This week the market will be located OUT THE FRONT of the Katikati Memorial Hall, as the annual Bridge Club Tournament is being hosted inside the hall.

Please note there will be no public access inside the hall for the market or toilets this Sunday. Thank you for your understanding and support.

NEW - The Community Food Sharing Table
With the price of living being so expensive, what better time to create a space at the market where generosity, abundance and kindness can flow.
This Sunday we are trialing a crop/food/produce sharing table. It is a simple, generous space where locals can give and receive freely. Bring along excess garden produce, plants, home baking, seeds, or produce items (must be home made/grown) and take what you need—no money involved, just kindness and connection.
Join us on Sundays from 9am to 1pm at the Katikati Memorial Hall Shop the local produce and artisan goods and be part of a morning out in your community. This is what Farmers Markets are all about!!
