This week we’re throwing the spotlight on cauliflower 😍

Sorry a bit late posting this week, but yes, we are open today!

** NEW HOURS MONDAY - FRIDAY 9-5 **

We have limited kamokamo at $5 each.

Lots of fresh Asian greens including Pak Choy and Wongbok (Chinese cabbage)

Plus all the usual faves - potatoes, kumara, pumpkin, broccoli, cauli, silver beet, leek etc etc

Have a go at the following recipe, which is so quick and easy, and cheap. It’s my favourite winter comfort food

** Pak Choy and dumpling noodle soup **

* Miso soup sachet x2 plus 320 ml water
* any 2 minute noodle (without the flavour sachet)
* a few dumplings
* chopped Pak choy
* broccoli
* a few prawns (optional)
Summer in pot until dumplings are heated through. Add the veges close to the end. They only need a couple minutes

You can pay up to $25 elsewhere for ‘wonton noodle soup’ - it’s so easy to make!

** POTATOES ARE BACK!! **

Ok folks potato’s are back on the stall.
And what we know….. is that they came out of the ground less than half an hour ago!!!!

** SWEETCORN SALE **

This week (while stocks last!) we will be selling our sweetcorn for $1 a cob

Harvested fresh daily at a Reed’s Farm

We’re getting down to the last of the corn now so get in while you can

Today I preserved some sweetcorn for the cold dark winter days 😅 9 cobs made 1.3 kg of corn kernel!

* Get a large pot of water boiling
* Husk your corn and shave the kernels off using a sharp knife
* when the water is boiling throw all the corn in the pot
* wait for it to come back to boil (will take a couple mins)
* allow to boil for about 2-3 minutes - corn will be nice yellow colour - you’re done
* tip into colander to drain, allow to cool and put in freezer bags 👌👌

** LATE NIGHT THURS TIL 6pm **
