Stunning clear skies at night and crisp frosty mornings. ✨🌅
We're getting closer to calving every day now. It's exciting and a little scary at the same time. There always seems to be more jobs to do, more things to think about, and plenty to worry about.
But calving also brings new life back to the farm. Tiny calves racing around the paddocks, new pets to make, and the start of another season. 🐄❤️
For all the hard work and sleepless nights ahead, there's something pretty special about this time of year at Bushview Farm.

🐄 Quick update from Bushview Farm 🥛

We’ve now added separate one-off order products for Town, West/South & North runs for customers who don’t order the same each week.
Recurring orders stay as is or email me if you need changed.

Recurring orders with ongoing declined payments may now be skipped or suspended, as we have customers currently waiting for milk spots and only limited litres available each week.

With winter coming, they’re expecting an influx of vulnerable fledglings and urgently need a new brooder box to help keep these precious native birds warm, safe, and thriving.

The girls have some nice sheltered paddocks for the next 2 days. We have heaps of bush and trees in paddocks for shelter for days like these.

Our milk goes from cow to bottle in under an hour 🐄
As soon as it’s milked, we chill it down to 5°C or below, then bottle it fresh right here on the farm. It goes straight into the chiller and is out for delivery the very same day.
Fresh, simple, and just how it should be — from our farm to your family.

Delivery update 🚚
Fuel is now over $300 per week our fees generate about $180, so we need to tighten our delivery area to stay sustainable.
We’ll no longer deliver north of Kerikeri, and are reviewing western areas.
This helps us avoid increasing delivery fees for now..... our family is feeling the pinch to so want to keep it as affordable as we can
