Join me and the Wild Chix NZ crew for a hands on Butcher’s Workshop where I’ll guide you through butchery, curing, and sausage making, turning your harvest into something you can be seriously proud of.
Practical skills, good food, plenty of laughs, and an awesome bunch of like minded women.
This workshop runs across two half days from 8am to 12pm, including lunch each day. After the session we’ll hang out, socialise, and talk all things hunting, food, and outdoors.

We’re obsessed with it on its own, but the way they’re serving it with fresh mozzarella over is a total game changer. The creaminess of the cheese against that spiced, free-range pork? Perfection.

All ages, all skill levels — from total beginners to those with a bit of knife confidence (plus a couple of butchers!) — and every single one brought the best energy. So much learning, laughs, and seriously impressive work on the block.

Safe to say, it won’t be the last 👏

We had the best time with A Lady Butcher learning how to butcher and produce our own small goods…and we had so much fun!

There is something incredibly powerful about standing around a table, sleeves rolled up, hands-on, learning exactly where your food comes from and how to honour it properly.

It wasn’t just about butchering.

It was about:
✨ Understanding your food
✨ Respecting the animal
✨ Gaining self-sufficiency
✨ Sharing stories, laughs, and probably a few cheeky comments (especially around the sausages ;-))

To every woman who came along — you were bloody incredible. The energy, the curiosity, the support for each other… this is what happens when women step up for themselves and try something new.

If you’ve been sitting on the fence thinking, “Could I actually do something like that?”

This is your sign.
