It is with great sadness that I have to announce the passing of my father Brian Nola. His tireless hard work, gruff demeanor and sparkling yet goofy smile will be seen no more but never forgotten. Thank you to everyone who has supported us and Dad in recent times. Dad's funeral will be at 10:30am Wednesday 4th at the Waitemata Rugby Club. All welcome.

Hello everyone.
I would like to take the opportunity to thank everyone for the incredible support we have received since the fire. The amount of kind words, clean up offers, babysitting offers, flowers and food we have received has been almost overwhelming. There have been hundreds of messages. I already knew we lived in a great community but I've never been prouder or more grateful to be part of it. So thank you all.
In regards to the fire itself, it seems to have started in a socket on the back wall where the meat and chicken chiller was plugged in. It spread throughout the building leaving almost nothing untouched. Because of this we will be levelling the entire shop.
Yes, we will be rebuilding to answer the most common question. When that will start and how long it will take is anyone's guess right now though. We will keep posting updates as we go.
In the meantime if anyone has any jobs for our lovely staff I'm sure they would very much appreciate it.
So once again, on behalf of all the Nolas, thank you all.

Ol' Faithful met her demise on the motorway this morning. Much as I hated her and barely fit in the cab I'll still be sad to see her go.
