☕️ Cups of Coffee: A Lesson in Life ☕️

A group of successful alumni from a prestigious university visited their old professor. During their visit, they complained about various work-related challenges and life problems. 😓

The professor offered them coffee and returned with a tray of cups: porcelain, glass, plastic, and crystal. Some were simple, others were expensive. ☕️

Once everyone had picked their cups, the professor said:

"Notice that all the pretty cups were taken, while the plain and cheap ones are left. Although it's natural to want the best for yourself, this is actually the source of your problems and stress. The cup itself doesn’t make the coffee better. Often, it’s just more expensive and sometimes even hides what we’re drinking. In reality, all you wanted was the coffee, not the cup. Yet, you consciously chose the best cups and then wondered who got what."

"Now think about this: Life is the coffee; work, money, status, and society are the cups. They’re just tools to hold and contain life. The type of cup we have doesn’t define or change the quality of our life. Sometimes, focusing too much on the cup makes us forget to enjoy the coffee."

The happiest people are not those who have the best of everything but those who make the best of what they have. 😊
