A woman's experience of how her toddler locked himself in the room reminded me of what happened to me few days back😂

A few days ago, my son locked himself inside the room… and what followed? 😩
At first, I thought he was just being stubborn and making noise. I was already getting upset because my baby was sleeping, and I didn’t want him to wake up.
I even sent the small boy helping me to quietly bring him out and close the door…

Next thing he said:
“Aunty, the door is locked.”
My heart?
It didn’t just skip. It ran a full marathon.
I rushed there, still angry at first
“Open the door the way you locked it!” I almost screamed at my toddler.
And this boy calmly said…
“mummy I cannot open it"
Chim! 🙆‍♀️
At that point, my mind traveled to places I cannot even explain.
Fear replaced anger immediately.

To make matters worse, my phone was plugged on the extension and my son loves going near that extension 😭
Different thoughts just flooding my head at once.
After panicking small, thinking of what to do, God helped me , I remembered there was an iron tool in the house.
Omo… I didn’t think twice.
I used it and scattered the door k**b completely just to get him out.

Door k**b: gone
My peace of mind: gone
But my children: SAFE 🙏

Honestly, this motherhood journey ehn…
Nobody prepares you for these mini heart attacks we experience almost daily.
