🌙 ZAKATUL FITRI 2026 🌙

It’s that time of the year again to fulfill our obligation of Zakatul Fitri at the end of fasting in Ramadan.

At Tokam Foods, we help distribute food staples directly to indigent families and individuals — ensuring your Zakat reaches those who truly need it. 🤍

All staples are measured in 3kg (1 Saa) per individual:

🍚 Rice (3kg) – ₦4,000
🫘 Picked Oloyin Beans (3kg) – ₦7,000
🌾 Gaari Ijebu (3kg) – ₦3,500

A Saa is the stipulated measurement to be given on behalf of one individual as Zakatul Fitri.

For example, a family of 5 will give 5 Saa measurements.

Let’s make sure no one celebrates Eid on an empty stomach.

Kindly make payments to:

Dear Valued Community, may Allah accept our fasting, our charity, and grant us the reward in multiple folds. Ameen. 🤲🏽

Dear Valued Community,

I will speak from my heart today.

Ramadan is a season of mercy, generosity and feeding others. At Tokam Foods, our Ramadan Foodboxes were put together with so much intention — to make feeding families easier, more affordable and more organised.

But I won’t lie… sales have been slow.

If you have ever supported Tokam Foods, prayed for us, or believed in what we are building, this is me humbly asking:

• Please patronise our Ramadan Foodboxes.
• Please repost on your status.
• Please refer us to your family and friends.

Your single repost can bring a customer.
Your referral can feed a family.
Your order can keep this dream alive.

When you support Tokam Foods, you are not just buying food. You are supporting a vision, a household, and a community savings model that helps families buy in bulk without pressure.

If Tokam has blessed you before, please help us reach more homes this Ramadan.

May Allah reward you for every act of support — seen and unseen.

With gratitude always,
Tokam Foods 🧡

Day 7 – Gratitude Check 🤍
Reflect on the privilege of having food for sahoor and iftar.

Not everybody wake up to sahoor.
Not everybody break fast with peace of mind.

Today, pause and say Alhamdulillah — not just for the food, but for the means, the strength, and the mercy behind it. Gratitude softens the heart and multiplies blessings.

As Allah reminds us in the Qur'an:
“If you are grateful, I will surely increase you.” (14:7)

Let gratitude be part of your fasting.
Good things no dey finish 🌙✨

Ramadan Series – Day 6
Day 6: Clean Food, Clean Heart 🤍

What we eat does not only nourish the body — it shapes the heart.

When our food is halal, pure, and honestly earned, it brings light into our souls and clarity into our worship. But when what we consume is doubtful or impure, it can weigh heavily on our hearts.

The Messenger of Muhammad ﷺ said:
"Indeed, Allah is Pure and He accepts only what is pure." (Muslim)

This Ramadan, let’s be intentional —
✔️ Halal in source
✔️ Clean in preparation
✔️ Moderate in consumption
✔️ Grateful in spirit

Because a clean plate supports a clean heart… and a clean heart draws us closer to Allah. 🌙✨

🌙 Day 5 – Feeding Others

The Reward of Feeding a Fasting Person

The Muhammad ﷺ said:

> “Whoever gives food for a fasting person to break his fast will have a reward like theirs, without that detracting from their reward in the slightest.”
— (Tirmidhi)

SubhanAllah… imagine earning the full reward of someone’s fast just by feeding them.

Ramadan is not only about restraining ourselves — it is about expanding our hearts. When you place food on someone’s table for iftar, you are placing barakah in your own life.

You may not be able to feed many.
Start with one person.
Start with one family.
Start with one sincere intention.

In this month of mercy, let your food be sadaqah. Let your kitchen be a source of reward.

Because in Ramadan, feeding others is not just generosity — it is multiplied reward.

Day 4 – Eat in Moderation

“Eat and drink but do not be excessive.” – Qur’an 7:31

Ramadan is not a competition of plates.
It is a discipline of the heart.

After long hours of fasting, it’s tempting to overeat —
but barakah lives in moderation.

Eat to nourish your body.
Drink to hydrate your soul.
Leave space for gratitude.

Overeating brings sluggishness.
Moderation brings lightness in prayer.

This Ramadan, let your plate reflect your purpose.

Because food is a blessing — not a burden.

Day 3 – Hydration is Ibaadah 💧

Water is mercy. And mercy is a gift from Allah.

During fasting, dehydration doesn’t just make the body weak — it affects focus, mood and even our concentration in Salah. A well-hydrated body helps a present heart.

Qur'an 21:30 reminds us:
“And We made from water every living thing.”

So tonight at iftar and before sahoor, drink intentionally.
Not just to quench thirst — but to strengthen your worship.

Hydration is not ordinary.
Hydration is ibaadah. 💙

Day 2 : Intention and the Sunnah of Dates

Ramadan does not begin with hunger — it begins with niyyah.
Before the first sip of water leaves your lips, ask yourself: Ya Allah, I am fasting for You alone.
“And fasting has been prescribed for you…” (Qur'an 2:183)

Then we break our fast the way our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us — with dates. Simple. Pure. Powerful.

Dates gently restore energy, balance sugar levels, and prepare the body for prayer.
Ramadan teaches us that spirituality and nourishment go hand in hand.
Feed the body wisely. Feed the soul intentionally.

Dear Valued Community,
Start this Ramadan with the right intention… and a table filled with barakah. 🧡
