Before you go to sleep tonight.
Listen carefully, my dear ones…
Long before you were born, before your name was spoken among men, a lot had already been invested in you from eternity. You did not arrive here empty. You came carrying divine intention, ancient purpose, and answers to battles that existed before your generation ever began.
There are prayers older than you that are speaking for you. There are covenants you stepped into without full understanding. There are graces upon your life that you did not earn, yet you have been entrusted to steward.
Do not take this lightly.
As you journey and sojourn through this life—growing, building, becoming, and navigating this ever-demanding world—never lose sight of the things that matter most. Many have gone far but lost what truly mattered. Many have gained much but preserved nothing of eternal value.
So I say to you with the weight of understanding…
Do not lose your relationship with God, for He is not an accessory to your life—He is your source. If you lose Him, you may still have activity, but you will lose life. Stay rooted in Him beyond convenience, beyond seasons, beyond emotions.
Do not lose your reverence for spiritual things, because familiarity has quietly destroyed many destinies. The moment you begin to treat holy things as common, decline has already begun, even if it is not yet visible.
Do not lose your character, for it is the unseen foundation that carries visible greatness. Gifts can open doors, but only integrity can keep them open without destruction following behind.
Do not lose your sense of purpose, because movement without direction is not progress—it is wandering. You must know why you are here, or life will assign you meanings that lead you away from your divine assignment.
Do not lose your discipline, because destiny is not sustained by passion alone. It is consistency in the hidden places that preserves greatness in the public places.
Do not lose your compassion for people, because behind every face is a story, and behind every story is a soul that matters to God. Never allow growth to make you forget humanity.
Do not lose your humility, because pride is subtle. It does not announce itself—it grows quietly until it begins to replace dependence on God with confidence in self. And when that happens, a fall is already in motion.
Do not lose your focus, because distractions in this generation are many and often disguised as opportunities. Not everything that calls you deserves your attention.
Do not lose your spiritual sensitivity, because God still speaks—but only those who are attentive will hear. If you lose your ability to discern, you will walk into things that were never meant for you.
Do not lose your eternity-consciousness, because this life, with all its noise and urgency, is still temporary. You must live with the awareness that one day, you will give account for what you did with what was given to you.
Do not lose the relationships that draw you closer to God and to purpose, and do not forget the people who invested in you—those who prayed for you when you could not pray, those who opened doors of opportunity for you through jobs and platforms, those who taught you, corrected you, believed in you, and stood by you in seasons when you had little or nothing; these are not coincidences, they are divine investments, and you must never treat them lightly or outgrow the value they carry in your life.
Remember this, and let it settle deeply within you…
It is not enough to be active—you must be aligned.
It is not enough to be gifted—you must be grounded.
It is not enough to be visible—you must be valuable in the eyes of God.
Many have built impressive lives that heaven does not recognize. Many have gained the world’s applause and lost divine approval.
Let that not be your portion.
Walk with awareness. Grow with caution. Build with eternity in view. And guard your life with understanding.
For what has been invested in you is not ordinary, it is eternal.
Do not forget this as you go forward.
