In may 2025, IGBA Ebe FEAST

Akator Village in Ikem Ivite Autonomous Community, Nando observed their Annual IGBA Ebe FEAST.....

The Moment Ezedu Alusi Chili Eze of Akator is lifted to the Enuagu Village square.

The IGBA Ebe FEAST is the Grand finales of the month of Onwa Nge festival, one of the 9 traditional festivals observed in Nando.

Onwa is the first month in Igbo traditional calendar and it's also marks the season of farming season in Igbo rejuvenated Lands

The demonstration of Akator Age-grade system has shown so much in improvement in the feast that gather abroad and homebase indigenous together in celebration of igba ebe feast.

IGBA traditional food to serve a visitor is Ukwa meal and Ofe Mkpli I've with azu mgboko.
(Okojiokoji smoked cat fish or evi).

Taking along the entire streets of the community is well packed flashy Cars.

Merriment kick off as soon the Igba ebe is over and Ezedu lifed back to the Shrine evti Obu.
