NAEC FINANCIAL BUSINESS SKILLS
The ToT is to build the capacity of intending Aquaculture service providers in the aquaculture value chain and also refresher session for existing Aquaculture service providers in Nigeria.
• Aquaculture farmers often lack basic planning skills, evaluation and analysis tools to support the growth of their farms, which has resulted in a lack of solid decision-making concerning economic, farming income and profits. To address these enterprise development capacity gaps, the Agricultural Enterprise Curriculum (NAEC) was developed so that fish producers, input suppliers, and traders are better able to take advantage of key market linkages, function more competitively within the value chain, and employ a commercial approach to their agricultural activities rather than using typically-found subsistence practices.
• Group Dynamics and Leadership curriculum is designed to help small groups interact more efficiently and make more strategic decisions. It is also intended to encourage equal participation and effective leadership within the group dynamics.
• The ToT will equip Aquaculture service providers with improved skills, through the training will have the skills to offer a variety of farm services to farmers as Aquaculture Service Providers (ASPs).
• The ToT proposed to strengthen the capacity of service providers in technical topics in the production of quality fish and adopting the best practices in farm production.

This Course is designed for Cooperative, Multipurpose, Federations, Union / Societies and Groups, Cooperative’s extension officers, Rural Institutional Development Officers and Managers, PIND Local Service Providers, NAEC trainers, NGO’S, BDS providers, other public and private training institutions.
