LET’S SETTLE THIS DEBATE!

Between INTENSIVE and EXTENSIVE systems of cattle farming, which one is the BEST?

Intensive: Cattle are kept in a confined area and fed by the farmer.

Extensive: Cattle roam and graze over large areas of land.

Abeg, which system do you prefer for your cattle, and WHY? Let’s learn from one another in the comment section!

YOUR COW MAY LOOK HEALTHY BUT STILL BE SICK!

Have you ever seen a cow eating normally in the morning, only for it to become weak or stop eating later that same day?

Some cattle diseases show very few signs at the beginning. That is why checking your cow’s appetite alone is not enough.

Apart from loss of appetite, what is the FIRST sign you notice when your cow is becoming sick?

farmers teach us in the comments!

What do you use to treat your cow’s feet when they have Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD)?

Check the comment section to see what I use, then tell us what you use on your farm. Let’s learn from one another!

LETS SOLVE THIS?

If your cow keeps licking soil, eating mud or chewing wood, will you ignore it or suspect a problem?

What do you think causes this behaviour in cattle?

24/10/2026

If your cow is not sick, should you still give it antibiotics just to prevent sickness?

Some farmers believe prevention is better than cure, while others say unnecessary antibiotics can cause more harm than good.

WHICH SIDE ARE YOU ON?
