The worst thing about this palm fruit work is to leave it to over ripe on the palm tree 🌴 before cutting it down.

As you all know, red oil is our family business.

While growing up as a child, Sometimes it is very difficult to find someone to cut the palm fruit down for us.

Reasons; because we are not the only one doing the work in the village. of course, there are many people doing it too.

so because of that, to find someone to cut it at times used to be difficult and also during the rainy season it is hard to find someone to cut it too because the palm trees are wet and it's very risky to climb a wet tree 🌴

Another reason that can lead to over ripe of palm fruit is hidden fruit 🍑 yes, some palm fruit are hidden or covered by some dirt or palm tree leaf 🌿 ..,

so when such fruit is cut down everywhere will be scattered by the fruit/seed ...

Then you will hear my mother oya ooo let go and pick the over ripe fruit .... And we'll reply oh my God, why do you allow it to over ripe mama 💔😭

Nothing pains me in the palm fruit work than picking the over ripe fruit 😭😅 but thank God is a story now 😂😂😂😅

This picture reminds me of how joyful I used to be then when our palm fruit is cut down this way without leaving it to over ripe 😁😂

True life story

Red oil is my mother major business.
Growing as a child in the village my mother has several businesses doing but producing and selling red oil is the main one..

my mother born and trained I and siblings into the business. I remember even when I was in university on a short break I did go to the village to help my mother with the red oil work.

The production is not easy but we can't dorge it 😁 my mother is so hard working and she always tells us not to depend on man nor to sit and cross leg in husband's house..

At times she calls me and tells me (last born) I know you are not lazy but hope you are doing something? don't leave everything for man. ✌️

Today I and some of my siblings are using the red oil business to earn a living
