OUR STORY

Sometime last year, a loved one had a health scare. Was diagnosed with Diabetes alongside Hypertension. It happened all suddenly and so fast because there were no slightest prior signs at all.

Panic set in, we feared for loss of life. Amidst medications, diet style had to be hugely adjusted.

For a few months we made sure that the diet of this our loved one did away with carbs and focused on iron and vegetables. During this period, we came up with very healthy alternatives for lots of carbs foods we eat everyday, things the society take for granted or does not recognize because we do not understand their value.

With these meals, in no distant time, I mean, way sooner than we expected, our loved one had a stabilized blood sugar and the blood pressure was brought under control. This was surreal giving the scary counts in the diagnosis.

We came close to losing this person and so I could relate with the pain of losing a loved one. And I wondered at how many loved ones could have been saved from dying if they had the right diet and if people around them knew how to spin their diets around.

So, I decided to start a food line firstly focused on those who want to live a healthy lifestyle, for those diagnosed or living with diabetes or any illness at all. I started this brand so that people do not have to lose their loved ones over things that can be managed.

So, I present to you, Suz Foods. Alongside our pioneer product; Unripe Plantain, we have the Dried Peeled Beans and the Bean flour. More products to be unveiled in the coming days.

We have a mission to improve the health of all our clients one meal at a time.
