I made sure my best friend died On My Wedding Day. She deserved to die.
Good morning, Family. Let me tell you a story that still gives me chills.
It was my wedding day. I was in the sitting room with my best friend, my ride-or-die… or so I thought. We had two glasses of juice. She excused herself for a bit, and I stayed behind, waiting for her.
Next thing, I heard her rushing back in, shouting my name, “Mimi! Mimi!” Playfully, I decided to hide behind the door to scare her a little, you know how friends play. But what I saw that day? I’ll never forget.
She looked around, didn’t see me, and muttered:
“Where’s this girl? It’s your day oo, we need to get ready before your hubby comes.”
As I stood quietly behind her, she did something that nearly stopped my heart. She reached into her bra, brought out a syringe, and poured something into my drink. Then she whispered:
“You think you’ll get married before me? You’ll die today. Nobody will hear from you again. You stupid girl”
I froze. My own best friend? The one I trusted with everything?
She ran upstairs to look for me, still calling my name. That was my chance. I quickly swapped the drinks and slipped outside to calm my racing heart.
A few minutes later, I walked back in like nothing happened.
“Ah babe, where you go? I’ve been looking for you,” she asked.
“My dear, I went to check something outside, sorry I kept you waiting,” I replied calmly.
She smiled sweetly and urged me to sit down and drink. And I did. She drank hers too. We laughed and gisted, but I saw how she was watching me, waiting for me to collapse.
Then suddenly, she screamed, clutching her stomach.
“Mimi! My tummy! My tummy hurts. Something is wrong! Please take me to the hospital!”
I looked at her. She looked at her cup, confused, realizing the poison was in her own drink. I said quietly:
“So you wanted me dead on my wedding day? How can you be this wicked? I saw what you did, babe. And now, you’re drinking what you planned for me.”
She didn’t survive. She dug her own pit and fell inside.
You know the song wey dey my mind so?😅
Pit is meant for those who dig the pit. And trouble is meant for those who want trouble. But the joy of the lord give me big big strength to jump over pit, abeg ooh!
Who dig this pit go fall inside.
Family, life has taught me: not everyone smiling with you is truly happy for you. Some friends secretly wish you harm. But the God I serve doesn’t sleep.
In the remaining days of this year, may every evil plan against you backfire. Whoever digs a pit for you will fall inside. Whoever plans your downfall will fall flat.
Somebody shout Amen! 🙏
