BIAFRALAND BLEEDS: AN ECHO OF INTERNAL WARFARE

The internet has become a silent witness to one of humanity's darkest spectacles, a video so grotesque it pierces through the veil of normalcy. Here, a young man, his only offense fetching water, was subjected to torture before his life was brutally ended by the same youths that were supposed to share this land with him. His haunting final words, "Ọkwa mmiri kam jere ịgbara," resonate as a desperate cry for mercy in a region where survival itself is criminalized.
Biafraland,, is not merely bleeding; it is gasping for life under the oppressive weight of political greed. For the price of a meager wage, individuals have sold their souls, turning against their own blood, manipulated by politicians more interested in consolidating power than in fostering peace. These leaders indulge in foreign luxuries, sending their children abroad for education while their own land, Ala-Igbo, languishes in neglect and decay.
The contrast is both poignant and bitter. In the north, insurgents are granted clemency, while in Biafraland, suspicion of supporting groups like IPOB can lead to a death sentence. The northern elite rally around their kin, even when branded as terrorists, yet here in the South-East, leaders like Imo and Anambra State Governors Charles Chukwuma Soludo and Hope Uzodimma appear either complicit or blind to the atrocities committed against their people.
The detention of Mazi Simon Ekpa by Finnish authorities courtesy 9f Bianca Ojukwu's led petition has only inflamed the situation. Now, the Fulani militia, with unchecked boldness, pillage through Biafraland, transforming it into a war zone where the true adversary is hidden behind the mask of local treachery.
