The Satiyaa tribe of Rajasthan (India) believes that life is the greatest punishment from God, because you have to go through suffering, and that death liberates you from this suffering.
So they celebrate when people die and mourn when babies are born.
When someone dies in the tribe, they throw a party, and when taking the dead for cremation, they dance, sing, play drums, and then eat and drink continually until the cremation fire burns out.
On the other hand, when a baby is born, they mourn and community and family members will curse the new born.
