Dans la région montagneuse de Ouarzazate, la conditons des femmes rurales demeure précaire. Elles doivent faire face à de nombreuses responsabilités : s’occuper des enfants, du foyer, gérer les terres, etc… Elles sont souvent le pilier de la famille et ne sont pas reconnues à leur juste valeur. Pauvre économiquement, leur statut social reste très dévalorisé. Crée en mars 2008, elle apporte une sol
ution économique et sociale durable aux femmes de cette région du sud marocain à travers un programme axé sur l’élevage caprin et la transformation du lait de chèvre. On the south hillside of the massif of the High Atlas, in the region of Ouarzazate, the condition of women within the rural homes remains precarious. At the same time in charge of the education of the children, the food and home maintenance, the management of the breedings and the lands, the women carry out a considerable work. Nevertheless having little or not access to the economic function and to the public life, they suffer from a lack of gratitude and their social status is depreciating. COROSA cooperative has been created in march 2008 to emphasize the goat's milk produced in the region, to improve the financial situation, empoworing women in the region of Ouarzazate and give them a social recognition.
