This year we decided to support producers working with a social reason behind:
We selected products such as, coffee roasted by Italian female prisoners, chocolate made with responsibly picked coco beans, delicious biological juices and vegetables from a Sicilian Cooperative which promotes social integration and job placement of disadvantaged individuals and also our bags, sewed from women escaping from abusive family situations, working on their economical independence and using only recycled textile.

Bags are 2 sizes, small and big and you are free to pick and choose from our products.

We believe buying is a social and political act and it should be even more on Christmas Time. 🌲

Talking about Natural Cheese🧀 Please meet our amazing guys from Sardinia! They work only with sheep🐑 milk and their products taste of nature and smell like fresh grass 🌱. We fell totally in love with them, with their ideas and most of all, with their creations 😍. Otto Passi in Italian means 8 steps , they say this is the distance from where their sheep live and where the cheese is made. Since when Pecorino Romano became so popular around the world ( thanks mainly to Carbonara🍝 ), Sardinia which for weather and land conditions traditionally raises sheep, as the commercial demand was so high, started to export to Italian main land sheep milk 🥛to make Pecorino Romano, this dramatically decreased the production of Sardinian pecorino and many other cheeses typical from this amazing island. works to preserve those artisanal products and we are very proud to support them.

A rare protected pig breed and salt defined “sweet” : Those are the ONLY two ingredient for this artisanal bomb of flavours. 💣

Both products are part of the Slow Food presidia 🐌, our producer works in the maximum respect of animals and land (big shout to Azienda Agricola Zavoli , we ❤️you!)
We decided to support people working with morals and ethics, gifting us with mouthwatering experiences, what about you?

At the moment you can find Artisanal Mortadella every weekend at Italala Caffè and occasionally at Le Travi. If you want to buy to take away please pop in skanu
