Story Time with Time Savers Express: "M’e Malebohang’s R200 Lesson"

M’e Malebohang runs a small tuck shop in TY. One Friday, she needed bread, airtime, and painkillers from town. But she had a dilemma:

Option 1: Close her shop for 2 hours, pay for a taxi, and go herself.

The Great Delivery Escape

Yesterday was supposed to be just another smooth day for Time Savers Express — until it turned into a whole Fast & Furious movie.

One of our top bicycle riders, Mope, got a special delivery request. But plot twist: the package was way too big for a bicycle. Instead of saying, "Hey boss, I can't do this," Mope thought, "No worries, I got a cousin's old car somewhere!"
So off he went, behind the wheel of a very suspicious-looking 1999-something that rattled louder than a vuvuzela at a football match.

Problem? Mope didn't have a license.
Big problem? On his way to deliver the package, a speeding Quantum came out of nowhere and CRASH! — smacked right into him!

Now any normal person would stay and exchange details.
But not Mope.
His inner voice said:
"You’re in a car you’re not supposed to drive.
You don't have a license.
There’s a package in the back seat bigger than you.
RUN!!!"

And so Mope did what any totally unqualified, slightly panicking delivery hero would do — he fled the scene like he was running from the Avengers 🏃‍♂️💨.

Now here we are... sitting with the police, trying to explain:
"Listen, Officer, it’s not what it looks like..."
Meanwhile, Mope is at home Googling "How to get a driver's license in 24 hours" and "Do they arrest people who drive away by accident?"

Moral of the story?
At Time Savers Express, we save time... sometimes a little too much time — like skipping getting a license altogether.
But don’t worry, we’re sorting it out with the police (and buying Mope a bicycle with extra big baskets) 🚲.

Once upon a time... in a village not far from here...

A young man named Thabo was chilling under a tree when his mom shouted,
“Thabo! Tsamaya u ye u reke tomato!”
Thabo, who was deep into a nap, turned to his cousin on a bicycle and said,
"Ke tle ke u fe R5, u ye ka 'na?"
