We have another original recipe sausage available right now. Introducing, our herb and chilli sausages. Flavoured with thyme, a touch of oregano and a hint of heat from Cambodian red pepper flakes. Here's what we got as of now:

What is 'sisig?'

Sisig is a quintessential Filipino pub grub/bar food that has its roots in the late 60's in Pampanga, Philippines which is still known for its borderline extravagant food preparations compared to simpler regional fare. It is made of crispy minced pork and is stir-fried with onions and sweet peppers, a dash of heat from chilli powder served on a sizzling hot plate topped with a fresh egg before serving. It is meaty, savoury and rich - the perfect partner for beer or other cold beverages. This dish is meant to be shared.

If you haven't yet indulged in this sinful goodness, or haven't tried any Filipino food yet, this is probably the best introduction to the Philippines' diverse, Spanish-esque culinary offerings.

Invite a couple of friends and come on over to Boph's bar and restaurant on street 2.5 to sample this Filipino specialty.
