Shalimar Chicken Masala Recipe
Ingredients
1 Large chicken (2.0 kg)
3 large onions
4 large tomatoes
1 teaspoon tomato paste
5 tablespoons cooking oil
Shalimar Chicken Masala
Preparations
1. Wash and cut chicken into small pieces
2. Peel and slice onions thinly
3. Soak tomatoes in hot water and chop then removing the skin
4. Fry onions in cooking oil until golden brown
5. Add tomatoes, tomato paste and Shalimar Chicken Masala
6. Cook over low heat for 5 minutes
7. Add Chicken pieces and half a cup of water and cook over low heat for a further 30 minutes or until tender
8. Garnish with fresh coriander or parsley and serve hot with naan, chapati, or rice.
