Title: The Last Call
INT. SMALL COFFEE SHOP - DAY
A young man, JASON, sits alone at a table, staring at his phone. His fingers tap anxiously on the screen. He dials a number and holds the phone to his ear.
JASON (whispering) Come on... pick up.
A young woman, LUCY, enters the shop, glancing around nervously. Jason spots her and waves. Lucy walks over to his table and sits down. She looks troubled.
LUCY (softly) I got your message. What’s this about, Jason?
JASON (leaning in) I found it. The answer we've been looking for. It’s all here.
He pulls out a crumpled piece of paper from his jacket and lays it on the table. It’s a map with strange markings.
LUCY (surprised) You found it? After all this time...
JASON Yeah, but we have to move fast. They’re coming for us.
Suddenly, the door SLAMS open. Two MEN in dark suits step inside, scanning the room. Jason and Lucy lock eyes.
LUCY (she grabs his hand) What now?
JASON (smirking) We run.
They both jump up, knocking over the table, and rush out the back door. The men in suits pursue them.
EXT. ALLEYWAY - DAY
Jason and Lucy race down a narrow alley. They stop at a dead end. Jason turns, looking for a way out.
JASON This way!
He pushes aside a stack of crates, revealing a hidden passage. They squeeze through just as the men catch up.
MAN #1 (snarling) You can’t hide forever, Jason!
INT. UNDERGROUND PASSAGE - NIGHT
Jason and Lucy slide down into the dark passage. They catch their breath in the dim light. Jason looks at Lucy.
JASON If we’re going to make it out of this, we need to trust each other.
LUCY (sincerely) I trust you. Always have.
Jason nods and pulls out the map once more, studying it.
JASON This map leads to something bigger than us. We need to keep going.
They exchange determined glances and move forward into the darkness, ready to face whatever comes next.
