No time for post event blues! Gotta cruise back to the marina, collect my car then drive back and pick up all this stuff!

Thank you to everyone who came to my supper and workshops this weekend! I appreciate every single one of you for trusting me with your time and money!

Winter workshop series (once I find an indoor venue!) will be announced very soon and 2027 dates will come shortly after that!

After panicking about gazebos for the last two weeks we were blessed with clear skies and another magical evening for tonight’s Towpath Supper Club 🌙

But my god it got dark so much quicker than just a month ago! A stark reminder that summer is on its way out and the cosy (muddy towpath) season enters the chat. After hearing the news recently I think we’re in for a rough winter, so floating Farmshop activities will be heading indoors until that’s well out of the way!

Thank you all who came to this evenings supper, it’s an honour to cook for you ♥️ and to those still sitting, chatting by candlelight, stay as long as you like, it’s magical to be able to bring strangers together like this!

Much more of this will be coming in 2027 that’s for sure!

Towpath supper club Instagram vs reality 😂

These events wouldn’t be possible without the help of my trusty car, friends who lend me things, and the brilliant Bollington Borrowers who lend out all sorts to the community including tables, chairs, and w**e glasses! 🍷

Done the big equipment run, now time to bring my boat over to Tramway Wharf in Marple for tomorrow’s supper and Sunday’s pickle workshops!!

Bloody ell I've been a bit busy 😅

I've been holding off announcing a location for Bank Holiday weekend because I was waiting to see what the water levels looked like. And although the water levels are doing okay, due to some other commitments in the coming weeks I've chosen to pop up a bit closer to my home mooring than originally planned - sorry New Mills!

BUT what a fantastic location methinks! My wonderful pals at have kindly agreed to let me pop up outside and I can't wait! They do fantastic hot drinks, cakes, ice cream and I'll be bringing the sausage rolls, homemade preserves, cheese scones, and maybe even a cheeky crumble and custard moment?!

PLUS my usual array of brilliant local producers and growers

🐝 Local Bollington honey from Happy Valley Honey
🐷 And for one weekend only, my boat made sausage rolls are back (because I actually have time to make them this week!) thanks to Brook House Farm Shop for the locally sourced sausage meat!

I'll be popping up all weekend - Saturday to Monday so if you're planning a nice walk along the canals, defo plan to pop into Baileys for your refreshments! See you there!

📣 New products klaxon! 📣

I couldn’t bring my baked goods down to K&A Kennet & Avon Floating Fayre this weekend (logistics innit) but thought it would be a good opportunity to launch my proper nutty granola!

Picture this: bowl of granola, fat dollop of extra thick Greek yoghurt (preferably locally sourced) and then a lovely big spoonful of my rhubarb and vanilla jam, ripple it through the yoghurt, and DEVOUR!!

🧀 Oh also have a NEW gooseberry and chilli jam, perfect with cheese! My courgette chutney, also perfect with cheese, or stirred through a curry! 🧀

🍓 AND my first batch of this year’s strawberry jam, thanks to Kindling Farm for providing top notch organically grown strawbs 🍓

🩷 AND AND thanks to a lovely rhubarb donation from a friend over in Yorkshire, my first foray into rhubarb cordial and I have to say, move over elderflower, there’s a new cordial addiction on the cards! The perfect combo of sweet and tart and rhubarb flavour! 🩷

Depending how well my market goes this weekend, all of these products SHOULD be available next weekend at my bank holiday stall! (Location to be announced very soon!)

I’ve spent a very hot sweaty week with my family in Italy in a more than slightly dysfunctional air BnB, however the kitchen, I enjoyed - and here’s a snippet of my fave bits! (I will be buying a coffee pot for next winter on Sunflower!)
