Every once in a while, if you’re lucky, you get a chance to serve food to people who have not only travelled the world, but have truly soaked in every culture that they have been a part of, and this is possibly the best bunch of people that any passionate cook can hope for, because they understand the value of great ingredients from around the world, this Sunday was an afternoon filled with such people, amidst the Shayadri ranges, at a quiet weekend home, we got a chance to do an exquisite menu for the grand 50th birthday of Megha Karkarey’s Mami, here is what the menu looked like:
An extensive cheese board consisting of:
Fresh Buffalo Mozzarella
Chilly Boursin
Aged Gouda
Scarmoza
Served with whole wheat lavash, spicy marmalade, olives, honey and Greek yogurt
Tuna Bruschetta with fresh tomatoes, onions and basil
Tomato soup with fresh basil and olive oil

Garlic bread
Citrus garden salad with walnuts
Pork Pepperoni Pizza
Our signature 7 cheese pizza
Pistachio and dark chocolate biscotti along with evening tea
