It is with the greatest sadness that we announce the passing of one of our Co-Founders, Anil Patel, who took his leave unexpectedly whilst on ōForest business in India last week.
Anil was a husband, a son, a father, a grandfather, a friend, and a business partner, who was very much loved by all who knew him. In 2020, it was Anil who first came across Madhuka and, without his curiosity and tenacity, there would be no ōForest today.
It was Anil’s dream to make Madhuka a household name across the world and we are more committed than ever to bring that ambition to life. However, as a small, new start-up, we will need some time to work out the path forward – both as a family and as a business. We have therefore paused all UK sales for the time being.
