VIKAS is an NGO is engaged with small & marginal farmers of coastal villages of Bharuch district, Gujarat,
since last 35 years. The focus of the efforts has been on increasing the productivity, remunerative price
realization for the farmers and consumers getting healthy farm products. Since last 04 years, VIKAS has helped organize about 500 farmers from 40 villagesunder Farmers Clubs. This initiat

ive has been supported by NABARD (National Bank for Agriculture and Rural
Development).These farmers produce Tuverdal, Green and Black Mung, Chana (Gram), Math, Rai and
Till (Sesame), etc. Since past four years, VIKAS has been selling Tuver dal and Mung in limited quantity among friends and
families in Ahmedabad. This year, we hope to reach to many more families with additional agriculture
products including, Tuver dal, Mung, Mung Dal, Chana, Chana Dal, Rai (mustard) etc.
