F12PY11... cheese order has arrived... the vintage, cut from the block is back in stock along with others... flame red peppers back in stock and I doubled the order to keep you going!!! wholesale order next week... what organic pantry products do you want us to add? It's your community, so you tell us what you want us to stock!!! Folic acid free organic flour, organic Atlantic sea salt, organic tomato sauce, beef dripping, fluoride free toothpaste, to name but a few are on the order. And we have sourced 900gms organic heather honey for €15 a jar... such great value. See you Saturday for a cuppa

... todays shenanigans from up on the hill... the funny news, BMac likes grapes, sorry folks he pecked them all, everyone on the top... sighing. A lovely woman turned up today with 4 kittens thinking we were an animal rescue centre! Our lovely organic chap has given us a large amount of organic green tomatoes, it's nice to give so any chutney makers are welcome to them, pop up tomorrow... now talking of nice people or person on this occasion, reported me for not declaring incomes from the farm shop to Revenue for 2020-2026... thank you so much. . As we don't take an income, and run this place like a not for profit for our beautiful community my accountant will charge me to talk to them... did the silly bi**h think I would be on face book and not declare an income. The mind boggles... the joys up on the hill... see you tomorrow for the next instalment of the lost income...sighing ..again 😆

WooooHoooo, I am on time, thank you Ireland for giving us a windy wet bank holiday as I can use the time as a catch up day 😄 Order book now open for Saturday 31st October, let's keep liking and sharing and get the message out of our fabulous ONE STOP SHOP for all your shopping... seriously over 500 products now in and around the tardis... Organic Box holding at €26, Standard box holding at €22, tray of free range eggs holding at €10... see you all Saturday (shhh now but I have ordered a dry day for next Saturday and no wind) 😎oh and ps. Cheese order going in next so the vintage cheese will be back in stock for Saturday too !

Guys, thank you for all the contact this morning... so many asking how we are ❤️ We got through the storms with little damage, poor "stick" the stunted apple tree took a battering but we have popped him back up with a temporary stake until Tuesday, when tomorrow's storm has passed (yes there's another one incoming) rolling eyes... hope you are all good and have electric, many don't unfortunately... I think we need to prepare more for these storms, power outages, food scarcity and cost of food rises.... I can see my prepping courses coming back out of hibernation !!!

F12PY11... build it and they will come... this has been our motto since day one, against every challenge, every hurdle, every situation that felt impossible, we rose.... today 5 sets of lovely new customers, all blown away (not literally lol) at what we do, how we sit and chat and put the world to rights. One gentleman said he hadn't had such great conversation in months... thats us, then a regular couple turned up with 4 beautiful plants, I paid for them by battering, knocking the price of food off their bill, then shared one plant with a another lovely regular who has green fingers to grow one on (incase I kill them) 😆... a wonderful fruit that "won't grow in Ireland" which we had the delicious fruits from last week, so books are not always correct.... hugs with my lovely "obsession" smelling man, laughs with others, howling with our potty training Mum who doubled down on cleaning products 🤣 ...what a community THANK YOU ALL, you are wonderful ❤️

F12PY11... Morning folks. Open as normal at 10am today, but closing sharp at 2pm as winds could whip up a bit up on our hill. We must say the Organic box this week was one of the best we have done, however it will be the last of those tender veg, French beans, tomatoes, cucumbers... that season is over... but as we move into winter there will be some fabulous root veggies for our dinners and stews 🥕 🥔 🧅 .... the cabbage this week is outstanding, organic veg grown locally 👏

UPDATE... SO are the Government poking the bears (us)... how are we going to move forward. The comments all show discontent. What do we do?

Rant time.... you all know i work full time which supports the Farm Shop as we don't take a salary from it, which keeps are prices very kean... we are lucky we can do that for you. Just had my pay slip for 31st October 26... government budget, we need to help the working classes, we need to give them more for working... is that what I heard??? I am sure it was.... I am €8 worse off in take home pay and as self employed have to pay €9 extra in taxes ... I know its only €17 a month but it is absolutely the principle of it. Sigh 😕 if I could spit feathers I would .... €17 salary loss, heating oil doubled, diesel €2.20, food prices up, house insurance up, thank goodness we have solar to cushion electric. .. when will it end ? Rant over sigh....
