It would sound absolutely trivial on the Continent… but gathering our small weekly selection of clams is a small achievement… unfortunately only appreciated by a few seafood connoisseurs…

Anyone else noticed how much bigger the Live Connemara Shrimps 🦐 are this year?

Our season favourite! Experimented with the air fryer tonight 👍 Their little legs and shells came out perfectly crispy with hardly any oil. Winner! 👏 no need to peel..

Job done ✅ Ciaran ✊ Fabulous 🫣 day to be out scallop fishing in Clew Bay… with many small island and wee shelter spots allowing a safe day fishing inshore despite weather.

You will enjoy those for the rest of the week.
