This month, work will begin on a new multi‑storey apartment development above our store on Dunville Avenue in Ranelagh. The project, designed to sympathetically preserve the character of the original building, includes a new entrance on the east side of the shop, providing access to 25 modern apartments above the existing premises.

Owner Gary Morton described the development as an exciting new chapter for the Dunville Avenue store, which has been part of the community since the 1930s. He noted that increased footfall from residents living above, along with the condition of sale requiring them to purchase their groceries from the store, represents a positive step for both the business and the wider area. Construction is scheduled to begin in late April 2026.
