We’ve started opening until 9pm every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday - but haven’t had the chance to tell you guys about it (or even form a totally cohesive idea of what the nights are about.)
Briefly…
Wednesday will be Games Night. Just pick a game, quiz box or Uno (or Tarot) deck from inside and enjoy it outside with a glass of house wine, Aperol Spritz or a coffee.
Thursday will be one of those ‘Social Reading’ nights we’ve ripped off from business people smarter and more inventive than ourselves. Bring your own book, buy one of ours, or take a lend of a pre-read title from inside.
Friday will be like a usual Friday except different in some way we haven’t fully fleshed out yet. Sure, there’s still plenty of time to come up with something!

Get your Claus on these beauties this week at Marlowe!
No, not Anja and Robbie… as aesthetically pleasing as they are.
We’re talking about the quartet of incredible Austrian wines they’re holding - crafted by our favourite producer Preisinger.
For one evening (Thursday till 6pm) and one night (Friday till 8pm), we’re bringing you some of humanity’s finest tipples by the glass.

There’s something for everyone:

🧈 The buttery wonder of Kalkundkiesel Weiss (a skin-contact white/orange for people who don’t like everyday acidic whites.

🌹A red-berry-packing, slightly fizzy and surely best-labelled Rosé simply labelled DOPE.

🍓Claus’s light, vibrant and juicy red Fruit Loops.
🧊And last, but certainly not least, his über-popular and ultra-quaffable chilled red Puszta Libre.
Get them while they’re hot…or cold.

🧀 Also finally back on the menu are our beloved cheese plates featuring generous cuts of Delice de Bourgogne, Comté and Cáis na Tíre so you can swap the grind for the rind.

As the kids say themselves: first is the worst, second is the best… 😉
A massive shoutout to the U11.8 Boys of , who were beaten by a fantastic Castleknock Celtic side in the final of the Michael Griffin Cup last weekend.
Under the guidance of coaches David Beattie and Marlowe’s own Paddy Fagan, the lads were a little outmuscled but never gave up the fight.
Their team spirit and dedication has made them a formidable squad, and all of us at Marlowe couldn’t be prouder to be their shirt sponsor.
The less said about the antics at the pizza party - kindly organised by and - afterwards the better. 😂
Onwards and upwards, we’ll go one better next year!
