We are just a quiet auld farm, sorry. Life is very busy here, between a busy farm, many farmers, busy kids and weather challenges. We don't post much online or share our world view too often. It's so busy just living that world view.

There's almost too much we would love to share. So it's easier to stay quiet. There we are. 7 acres of mysteriousness.

It's been busy sweaty and smelly. Got tons of cabbages, broccoli, kale, brussel sprouts planted out today. Feels so good...

Meat post: we have two cows in the butcher currently. They will be ready next weekend sometime. We have just 2 meat boxes unsold so message me if you are interested.

The cows have been raised and overwintered in our woods with 7 acres of pasture. 100% grass/wild garlic/foraged greens fed cows. The cows are certified organic.

The meat will have been aged for 21 days prior to butchering. It's the best we can produce. With all parts of the cow used.

The meat boxes are 10kg (approx one freezer drawer) and include a mix of steaks, mince, stew and roasts. It's €190. It may seem like a lot of money but organic mince sells at €15-18/kg, with steaks selling at €30/kg up to €50/kg. It's a very good price.

It's been an insane week on the farm. Organic inspection, bought two cattle, brought two cattle to the butcher, hatched chickens, bought a new (old) van, covered a polytunnel, cultivated from early morning til late night, planted out most of the onions and the early spuds, and still harvested packed and marketed. What on earth will next week hold! We are all knackered. Grateful for this wonderful team on the farm. And the wonderful mini farm team who help when it's needed. And look after themselves.

If anyone is wanting a 10kg box (€190)of beef let me know asap. They sell out fast so please do preorder now. The cattle will be ready in just over 2 weeks. They are forest reared, 100% grass fed, organic cattle. The meat is hung for 21 days. I'm not sure you'll find better meat anywhere.

This is EXCITING news, and also SAD news. Two of our beautiful certified organic forest raised cows have been sent to the butcher to feed our family with a small amount of excess for selling to ye. Their names are Mo and Eeny.

We keep a very small herd of 3-5 cows on our 20 acre woodland/pasture field. They have never seen a shed. They shelter in the mature woodland and forage wild garlic, leaves, ivy etc as well as diverse pasture. They have never had any chemical interventions whatsoever.

The meat is hung for 21 days prior to butchering to ensure the best meat we can produce. They'll be ready the week after next. We are taking preorders now for beef boxes, which will include roasts, steaks and minced beef. Priced at €190 for a 10kg box which should fill an average freezer drawer.
