William Kirkconnell sailed from Cayman Islands With his family around 1885. My Great Grandfather Oliver Alfred Kirkconnell the 1st was born on Hog Key 1987. OAK1st known as Alfred Kirkconnell became the first mayor of Bonacca.
OAK1st had seven sons and five daughters.
Oliver Alfred 2nd my Grandfather was his oldest son. All twelve of his children inherited large tracts of land. My grandfather got a large piece of Sandy Bay.
OAK 2nd past on and left to his 9 children the Sandy Bay Property. My father OAK3rd paired up with his sister and got the little stream to the East.
1961
With the death of my grandfather Oliver Alfred Kirkconnell 2nd, this land that encompasses the watershed of Kirkconnell Springs passed on to my Father Oliver Alfred 3rd and his sister Sylvia. I have these original documents that convey the inheritance.
1967
Kamron comes to Honduras and discovers the land.
Kamron began to work on the land.
Kamron Discovers Harry Carter had fenced off the heart of the family property.
1968
Repurchase of Harry Carter Land Dad paid Harry Carter off.
The flat was a swamp in the beginning so a drainage system was created. The property was covered in scrub trees, it took two years of back breaking work to clear the debris and level the land. Fruit trees of all types were planted and the flat was constantly mowed.
I built Kamrons pool in the middle of the stream as my first terraforming project.
Cleared the hills.
Installed a dam and irrigation system.
We built a water house that became my house, and refurbished and extended the dock. I did a rough survey and installed a reservoir high enough to water the tops of the front hills and ran water pipe down to the dock so that the boats had a good alternative source of water.
The flat of this land was all swamp. It took a whole day to chop a path back to the stream. It was thick with the tenacious woody marsh bush. It took two years to completely clear the land of stumps.

Dug a drainage system with two ditches to the sea to drain the trapped stream out to sea and Drained the swampy land and graded it.
1970
I visited Lancitilla and started ordering plants, even had my own coca plant which was not illegal back then. Kelly dug it up one day in a paranoid event of some sort.
Cleared and planted continuously.
1971
Mr. Hunters cows were getting into my land and eating some of my plantings. I walked the border of our land and Beling at the back of the ridge confirming in person with Mr. Hunter the original property line. I have a document showing that that land was rented to the Hunters but they have worked it for years and its theirs no uncontested. The land includes the entire watershed of the stream. Kelly Klint and Clare came for a visit. We hiked the ridge and I told everyone I was going to build a house on the east hill.

I finally talked my Dad into building a house on the hill. Built the two-story concrete house on the hill. (picture of Mango House) This structure has endured the test of time. The foundation and poured concrete first floor has not a single spawl or crack in more than 40 years. The bottom unit was mine and Dad had the top floor.

Dad was complaining about the money we were spending so I went to the states to make money to get supplies, so I decided to go to Houston and see if I could get some business going.

I brought my mom’s father, Eugene Hurt, (Papa) to Honduras stayed downstairs in the house on the hill under Dad. While we were there and after I had been working so hard on the land for years, dad was saying the property was a noose around our necks and we needed to sell. Breaking my heart. My Grandfather papa told me to forget my dreams of the property.
1976
I visited again and got dad interested in drying Mangos. I had made samples myself and took them to the foremost distributer of organic foods in California and my Mama Kirks Dried Mango was the best thing they had ever had. Dad changed the drying screens to galvanized instead of the stainless that I had been using and the labs in California would not pass the fruit as organic and I lost a large contract I had been working on a long time.

9March 1985 Then OAK3 transferred the land to His wife Raquel Hunt Kirkconnell for reasons unknown.
He kept it a secret for over a year.
I am working away. When he finally confessed He could not tell me why he did it except that Raquel had convinced him people would take it from him and she was a more secure person. Ironically her name was an alias and her ID was fake. My Father was a 4th generation Islander and she had a false id and alias name and she had convinced him she was a more secure option.
This was a violation of our 1977.
1986
When My Father OAK3rd finally admitted that this had happened I freaked out. I had been promised control and now Raquel owned the property and essentially she was in charge. I will never forget the look on her face when I first saw her after that. Like the cat that ate the canary. She had threatened to leave him and sell the land all the time and was wanting to sell the property for the money. That forced him to confess.
This was a major problem for Kamron Kirkconnell who had been investing time and money in improving the land for 20 years. It also became a problem with OAK3 because frequent falling outs with Raquel, she kept threatening to sell the land. It was one of these times that my father confessed that he transferred the land to Raquel. Kamron Kirkconnell was fed up and was going to abandon the lifelong project and promised was going to cease operations in Bonacca and sue for fraud.
Dad and Raquel both agreed to transfer the land into a Corporation I Controlled.
OAK and Raquel agreed to transfer legal control so I continued my plan.

I acquired 75% control of a corporation by buying out all the owners and my father retained his 25%. In 1987 Bodeco took over operations of the property.
We elected me as president. This election was certified by our lawyer.
The Corporation was given authority to acquire the land.

FRAUDULENT SALE
Completely unknown to me on June 29th 1992 Alfred Kirkconnell Embesseled the land by authorizing the sale that Bodeco sells the land to Raquel for $10,000 Lempiras. This is impossible because Kamron was President and major stock holder. This was a secret event that Kamron knew nothing about. Somehow they said they represented themselves as the owners of the corp to a lawyer that was new. Our lawyer was not involved and told my father he could go to jail for doing the illegal documents.
Raquel is going to sell the land call
At this point I did not know what he did During another fight between Raquel and OAK3. Dad called Kamron Kirkconnell late one night called and explains that Raquel was threatening to sell the land. Kamron Kirkconnell tried to calm OAK3 explaining that there was no way she could because Kamron has legal control, The he says, “ No Kam I have done something”. He tells me I need to go to La Cieba the next day and get “the papers in the box under the bed”. I book a super expensive flight to Honduras and pack my bags. The next morning, he calls back and says, “everything is alright”. “You just keep paying and nothing will change.”
He would not disclose what He had done, that it was some kind of new mistake and he would not tell me what he did. He said just keep sending money and everything would be all right. I wrote my father a grilling letter and we were never on good terms every again. After the death of OAK3rd, Kamron Kirkconnell returned to Honduras and discovered what had happened and has been working to regain control over the family land.

December 3 1992 Raquel sells property back to Alfred Kirkconnell to complete the Embezzlement.
Norman had claimed the back of the watershed that feeds Kirkconnell Springs. I walked those areas with Norman and explained that our property includes the entire watershed. I had a document showing the description of the taxed area as having a common border with Belling.

In regard to the west side of the stream; Coptura took a large piece of land and built a road and utilities. They fell on hard times and sold the bottom flat part of the property to an Italian Hotelier. This this group destroyed the restaurant and pool common area and then went belly up. Coptura never recovered and had to transfer all the remaining unsold lots along the cement road to Occidente Bank.

Kelly chases my land man off the property, digs up fruit trees, chopped down large oak trees, stole all the fruit and destroyed 250 pineapples, 4 nice coco’s, took all the plantains, chatas and bananas 15 bunches, removed an orange tree and has chopped at all the ornamentals. He cut down a lot of oak trees and left them laying all around the property. It has been continuously cleaned for ten years and not it looks like crap.
