Shashlik will be served with biodegradable plate and cutlery at Secret Island Party. Made from organic materials, biodegradable plastic requires less than half the energy to produce compared to plastic made from oil. It also takes less time to break down and leaves no harm to the earth when decompose.

100-metre long Shashlik was made in Lithuania last month...! Similar attempts were found in other countries including Poland, Latvia, Ukraine and Russia. Apparently making Shashlik in any form requires great mastership!!

On 19 September in Vilnius, a new record was achieved, the longest chicken shashlik was baked during the 10th Open Lithuanian BBQ Championship.
